Carsten Schneider is the founder and owner of GroEn Consulting ApS. He has more than 28 years of experience developing renewable energy projects including Power-to-X, waste-to-energy and biomass to energy projects. He has been working as director and consultant to Vendors, Developers, International Finance Institutions, Development Finance Institutions, Lenders, Private Equity Funds, International Investment Banks, Government Authorities, Private Companies supporting in developing and maturing large energy infrastructure projects from initial analysis and decision making to procurement, design, manufacturing, installation, take over and operation.
His former positions include world leading consultancies within the business and he has also been working as the Owner of projects and as the EPC Contractor.
Carsten has experiences and knowhow from developing Power-to-X, carbon capture, Waste-to-Energy and Biomass Power Plant projects from more than 25 countries worldwide .
Investing in large energy infrastructure project entail technical and commercial risks. It is important to either eliminate, mitigate or at least be aware to take appropriate precautions before making the investment decision.

Gustav Laigaard Schneider works as Junior Consultant in GroEn. Gustav holds a bachelor of science from the Danish Technical University and is currently on his master in Sustainable Energy Systems.
In GroEn Consulting, Gustav focuses on development of technical and financial models for Waste-to-Energy plants and Power-to-X systems integrating Renewable Energy production with BESS, electrolyser and downstream e-fuels systems.
Besides his work at GroEn Gustav also works as mentor for high school students supporting mainly in mathematics and physics, as tutor at the Technical University of Denmark and has previously been employed at Mentor Danmark and Virum Gymnasium.
